because they&#8217;ve brilliantly enticed participation from their users by spotlighting amateur photographs on each products webapge (see the bottom half of the image above).</p> <p>Proud collectors of Black Milk clothing are encouraged to share photos of themselves wearing Black Milk apparel via social sites such as Twitter and Instagram.  Users tag and upload photos of themselves, and Black Milk&#8217;s website pulls each a photo and displays them in a grid on their product&#8217;s page.</p> <p>Black Milk effectively hits several birds with one stone. By using each product page as a venue for user participation, they</p> <ul><li>Creates a sense of community.
